Last October the city of Madrid was surprised by a plague of rats in its streets. The street art icon announces the presence of graffiti in the habitat that corresponds to it, proliferating like the black plague, a disease that is said to have been transmitted back in the 14th century. The representation of the rat is also perceived as a critique of the speculators who invade cities and displace their inhabitants to other areas, reserving central areas for tourism purposes and leaving citizens aside.
